Sorry about the lack of pictures, but the office isn't fully set up yet and the mini-drive I use to transfer pictures is in one of the tubs of 'Greg's office stuff to sort'---so pictures will be missing for a day or two more.
Currently, we are all working on getting things done before the arrival of baby girl. Moving kick started the same joys/experiences I had with Jared in the last month of pregnancy (see post 1, 2, & 3),---basically anything I do starts regular painful contractions for a couple hours and then they stop--- so we all decided to start nesting---home organization style!
Greg (who I personally think is nesting more than me) is focused on painting. He wants to finish the downstairs this week and IF POSSIBLE paint baby girl's room before she comes (she won't be sleeping in there for a month or two so we can give it time to air out and settle). This past weekend, he, along with a friend, installed a garage door opener. Now my car has a home!
I've spent the last week organizing and going through boxes. It feels so nice to have a permanent home for things. I'm actually at the point where I can start hanging up things in rooms where painting is on hold until later or already done. I've also broken in my kitchen and we're having the missionaries over for our second annual Halloween-y feast tonight.
Jared is loving all of the new room. He spends time running around in the living room; reorganizing the play room and banging unbreakable pots in the cupboard he's allowed into when I'm cooking. He's also become a baby-signing fool! It's pretty cool; one week we didn't think he'd ever sign and the next we're teaching him a new sign each day. He's also pretty good at repeating one or two syllables of a word. With this also comes fits of frustration because we all understand each other, but he still doesn't get what he wants (like taking Indy Potato Head to church).
Another exciting thing coming up for Jared is nursery! He tried play hour last week; will do snack/lesson hour this week and then it's his first nursery Sunday! Our little baby is a little boy--- just in time for another one... yikes... :)
Let me sum up: Pictures will come soon, Greg's nesting more than me, I'm in constant labor, Jared is a toddler and we can't wait to meet our little girl!

2 observations:
I know the feeling of being in constant labor! I was thinking today that I've basically been in labor for a month, I get so many contractions! Good luck with getting everything settled before the little girl comes!
Glad to hear you're enjoying your new house. I look forward to seeing pictures. I hope your feast went well!
